72-year-old with "thyroid cancer"
Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma arising in association with differentiated thyroid carcinoma. Immunohistochemistry is positive for TTF1, PAX8, and p53. BRAF is negative.
Molecular testing is positive for CCDC6::RET fusion (this corresponds to case S22-58043). In addition, there is a TERT promoter mutation and a mutation in p53.
