58-year-old man with inferior left thyroid mass. FNA performed outside diagnosed as positive for malignancy, tall cell papillary thyroid carcinoma. A total thyroidectomy was performed revealing a 1.4 cm circumscribed mass in the inferior aspect of the left lobe extending into the isthmus.
Hyalinizing trabecular tumor. There is no evidence of malignancy. Background (longstanding) Hashimoto thyroiditis, fibrous atrophy variant.
