| 69-year-old male with a left middle ear/mastoid mass and progressive hearing loss over the past 8 years • more pronounced in the left ear. Otoscopic examination revealed mass in the middle ear with an opacified tympanic membrane. CT scan as well as MRI were suspicious for middle ear mass versus inflammatory tissue (e.g. GPA). Of note • past MRI from 2018 also reported inflammatory changes in the left otomastoid region. -Obtain past MRI scans and hearing tests from UMass and outside Hospital for comparison. | Pms36 | Middle ear neuroendocrine tumor (MeNET) |
