For macOS Catalina users, key points to remember:
- Your Mac OS should be 10.13 or higher. FileVault encryption should be enabled.
- If you already have Citrix Workspace 19.12, there should be no reason to delete and reinstall
- If you do not have Citrix Workspace 19.12, download it from SelfService, or directly from Citrix:
- https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/mac/workspace-app-for-mac-latest.html (Run the uninstaller first just in case, then run Citrix Workspace installer)
- Open Safari, go to http://workspace.partners.org
- If you get prompted to download Citrix – Don’t – Instead, click on “Detect” or “Already Installed”
- When you click on EPIC, it will download a file. Click on the downloaded file, it will launch Citrix Workspace and connect to EPIC.
Note: If, when you click on EPIC, and no file is downloaded, you need to reset Safari.
- At the top menu bar, click on Safari > Clear History > Clear “all history”
- At the top menu bar, click on Develop > Empty Caches
- (If the Develop option is not there, activate it by going back to Safari > Preferences > Advanced > check the box “Show Develop menu in menu bar)
- Restart Safari
