-|clinical_hx=An 83-year-old male developed a rapidly-growing raised, firm plaque on the left neck. A biopsy was performed and diagnosed as Merkel cell carcinoma at an outside lab. The patient was referred to the DFCI, and the outside slides were therefore reviewed at BWH.
