WSI23-224-Case-1
16F with multisystem organ dysfunction in the setting of SLE and macrophage activation syndrome s/p multiple abdominal surgeries at OSH and left arm amputation/shoulder disarticulation secondary to ischemic injury.
Extensive necrosis and angioinvasive fungal infection, morphologically consistent with Mucormycosis, with diffuse tissue infiltration without significant inflammatory reaction.
