- Subspecialty Metastatic anaplastic thyroid carcinoma. The original tumor had a CCDC6::RET fusion as does this spindle cell tumor. Interestingly, the tumor is negative for TTF1, PAX8 and p53 but positive for keratin MNF116, smooth muscle actin and focally for cytokeratin 903.
