Adult granulosa cell tumor
  • 2-3% primary ovarian malignancies
  • Wide age range, median 50 years
  • Usually unilateral
  • Median size 12 cm
  • Yellow to white with solid cut surface +/- cystic component
  • Necrosis and hemorrhage (torsion)

Endometrioid adenocarcinoma

  • 10-25% primary ovarian carcinomas
  • Wide age range, mean 51 years
  • Usually unilateral
  • Mean size 11 cm
  • Tan white with solid cut surface +/- cystic component
  • Necrosis and hemorrhage

Metastatic carcinoma (Krukenberg tumor)

  • Uncommon
  • Wide age range
  • Often bilateral
  • Size 5-10 cm
  • Tan white solid cut surface +/- cystic component
  • Necrosis

Fibroma

  • 4% ovarian tumors (70% of sex cord stromal tumors)
  • Wide age range, mean 50 years
  • Usually unilateral
  • Mean size 5-6 cm
  • White solid cut surface +/- cystic component
  • Necrosis and hemorrhage (torsion)
